I wanted to do another outfit post that was less words and more photos today.
The other day I went to a thrift shop and found this dress. At first I had bought it with the intention of shortening it to just below my knees, but when I put it on I found it fit me perfectly and I fell in love with the way it looks long.
Now you may think I'm strange for saying this, but my favourite kinds of clothes are the ones that make me feel like somebody else, and this dress does just that. It reminds me of so many characters from my favourite storybooks and I think that's what I like most about it. It isn't flashy or eye-catching, it's actually really quite simple, but it makes me happy when I'm wearing it, and that's all that matters.
The afternoon light was gorgeous when I took these photos, and I hope you all enjoy my little windowsill garden!
